Strategy Description:

This strategy is one of the trend following strategies. The Expert Advisor works very reliably in the currency pair NZDUSD. The strategy trades on the hourly chart (H1) and carries out an average of 45 trades per year, which equates to about 4 trades per month. It is a good idea to add further breakout or counter trend strategies to this strategy to smooth over the performance.



Entry:

The Expert Advisor enacts either buy or sell positions and has only one open position at any time. As an example, he hereby tries to open buy positions at Highest (Indicator) with a special value. The entry into a position then takes place via a stop order. Orders that are not executed are closed automatically after 27 bars, so that changing market conditions can not affect the signals.



Stop loss:

The stop adapts automatically to the current market conditions. A narrow trading range results in closer stops, while the Expert Advisor places the safety stop further away in the event of greater volatility. The position size is adjusted according to your chosen risk.

Furthermore, a trailing stop is used.



Profit Target:

Risk:

The risk of the original strategy is 1 percent per trade. The risk can be adapted to individual needs via the '+' and '-' in the Trading System List (click on 'All systems' button on the right site of PlentyTrade website).
